1. Hillary Clinton Tells Trump Not To ‘Tempt’ Her To Run For Office Again: ‘Do Your Job’

Hillary Clinton had a biting response to a tweet from President Donald Trump on Tuesday after he suggested she enter the 2020 presidential race “to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren.”

After the president taunted Clinton unprovoked and called her “crooked” yet again, she fired back a tweet that simply said: “Don’t tempt me. Do your job.”

2. More Details Emerge About How White House Officials Reacted To Trump's Call With Ukraine

Two new reports published on Tuesday shed light on the alarm raised in the White House by President Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating his political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden.

Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has prompted two whistleblower complaints, a House impeachment investigation and widespread concern across party lines.

3. Tyler Perry’s Studio Opening Gala Was A Historic Moment For Black Hollywood

The opening of a movie studio might not seem like a big deal, but when Tyler Perry does it, it is a historic event. The entertainment mogul opened the doors to his Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta on October 5, and it seems like every bold-faced name in Black Hollywood flew down South for the celebration. And there was a lot to celebrate: Perry’s studio is not only a tribute to Black excellence, its location bears special meaning: it’s sprawled over 330 acres of what was once a Confederate army base.

4. Elizabeth Warren Is Right. In The 1970s, Pregnant Teachers Didn’t Keep Their Jobs.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign is on the offensive against a report that questions a compelling piece of her origin story: her account of being pushed out of her first teaching job because she was six months pregnant.

Although the reports don’t contain evidence that Warren is lying, they show there is no written evidence she was fired from her elementary school job and they open the door to the possibility that she voluntarily resigned to raise a family.

5. Oprah Winfrey Makes History At Morehouse College With New $13 Million Donation

Winfrey had already donated $12 million to the scholarship program, which began in 1989. Her latest donation brings her total investment to $25 million, the largest endowment for a scholarship in Morehouse’s history, the college said in a press release.

“Seeing you young Oprah Winfrey Scholars here today has moved me deeply,” Winfrey said during her speech at Morehouse on Monday.

“I was really surprised to learn that it’s been 30 years since I made that $12 million donation to Morehouse,” she later continued. “And so today, I would like to add $13 million to that.”

6. Who’s Running for President in 2020?

The field of Democratic presidential candidates is getting smaller. But it’s still historically large.

There are currently 19 people running for the 2020 Democratic nomination. President Trump has picked up some Republican challengers, too.
